It can be used that way also but the main way we recommend using it is when you flush. If you're referring to sprinkling it into each pot as you transplant, that definitely is something that a lot of our customers like to do. You'll want to flush with 1-1.5 grams Atomic Root Powder (no other nutes) per gallon, until you achieve 40% runoff.
